WHAT CAN CARTOONISTS DO OVER SOMEONE'S PUBLIC IMAGE?

"The recent news about administration nominees dropping like flies should offer plenty of fertile material for editorial cartoonists.
After all,
poking fun at a president is what editorial cartoonists do so well. But so far, most pen-and-inksters do not seem to be skewering President Barack Obama in the wicked ways they skewered former President George W. Bush.
Why is that? According to some masters of the trade,
newbie-in-office Obama presents special challenges. It's not that he's hard to draw or that he's uninteresting. The problem, they say, is that he has not revealed any flamboyant character flaws. And they want to give him a chance to succeed".

  1. Someone's public image is something very important and fragil at same time. Due to the fact that audiences do not create image by means of their own experience any longer, they, insted, receive staticly all the already-done images over reality by means of the mediums which are rather focused on both create and change reality any time they consider it is important to do so. In other words, it is all about politic's strategies what very much leads audiences to reproduce image and not to create their own ones. The freedom of speech has been taken on by the same sort of slogan it carries on it, that is, for thinking they have opinion due to the huge and massive amount information about someone's image, audiences are very much likly to have the same kind of judgment. Yet they didn't even realize this phenomenon in-depth, they are a perfect field for fantasies and twisted point of view over someone's public image.

  2. Sometimes the image that we do over someone or something is wrong. These days, many people can't think with their own minds. They are manipulated by governmental, economical, and political interests; It seems that strange ideas created by someone who wants people not to think, make people accept absurd ideas. If people thinked by themselves, they could know that everyone and everything can change the way of choice.
Oneself can change his/her life everyday at anytime, in many different ways and moments. Now and on, you'd better open up your eyes and mind. For anyone has never to say to you what you have to think of. Change the world with your actions and the truth will come out.
